Baby's first dance video~ (Pfft.)
I knew I would enjoy dancing more. It makes posing so much easier because the poses are already there for you. There's also a lot more poses to choose from instead of just perfecting one to the max because...there's literally just one. I like that more, as well. Unfortunately there's not much to choose from right now. I thought about converting my own MMD motions, but of course it's a hassle and a half and I really can't deal with hassles now.
Speaking of rabbit holes, I did finally fall into the gpose algorithm. I guess you really do have to like a bunch of posts for it to finally understand that, no, I really don't care about whatever chronically online drama is happening now. I have real problems, thanks. Now, it would be nice to see some events again. I saw so many in the past that I wasn't ready in time for. I really hope I haven't missed the boat again. That seems to always be my luck...
Honestly, I've been waiting forever use this outfit. It's literally my first download when getting into modding. I think it's also what made me first discover the nymph/muse base and I was sold from there. For years I waited for the male Viera to be released, (begrudgingly so considering I'm still bitter they weren't released at the same time as the females) but even then I still wasn't content. I knew I preferred the feminine delicacy of the female Au Ra...I just wanted to be male, and males are never made delicate or feminine in games...ever.
So for the longest time, I used my imagination. I've done so for many games in the past, often because female characters always have better clothes. Although I think a more personal reason is that even though I lean more male, I don't completely identify as male, so this is kind of the best medium that I know I won't find anywhere else.
There's a specific hair that only the female Au Ras have that I love and tried to recreate with mods, but was ironically the only. damn. hair. I could not find. I guess it's called a wolf cut? (I call it the Carol Brady.) Literally nothing. I am pretty happy with the one I found, though. I wanted more of a bob anyway.
Um, I don't know. I guess I should talk about my character more. It's been forever since I've role-played. He definitely has lore, definitely has lore...probably too much lore. I guess I'll just let future posts do the talking. I know the main thing I need to do is go to my first venue, but it seems really stressful with no real guarantee of even meeting anyone. I don't know. I guess that's why I was hoping it would be easier to meet people outside the game first, because there's just too many options, not to mention servers.
In any case, I'm a little bit more motivated now. I still have a million things to do in game besides posing. Once I have my alts to at least 90 I should have more time.
